Here is my long awaited review on Kroser’s 15.6 inch backpack. Before I begin, I just want to let you know that this backpack exceeded all my expectations, and I love it so much. The best part is that it was only $32.99!
Here’s all the reasons why I think this bag beats most for traveling and daily use.
I purchased this bag in May for my trip to LA with Colin and his family, and it was a life saver. From its design to durability, I was able to travel around California with ease.
For one, it’s super trendy, chic, and spacious (16.5 x 7.5 x 11.2 inches). The organization is highly functional as well: there is a laptop sleeve, a tablet sleeve, two inside pockets, a zipper pouch, two side pockets, and a large front pocket. Overall, I felt like Mary Poppins because I could fit everything.
I carried my:
- Polaroid and extra film
- Go Pro and extension pole
- Wallet
- Medium sized makeup bag, glasses case, and sunglasses case
- Book, journal, and a small pencil bag
- Crew neck sweatshirt and hat
- Headphones
- Souvenirs
- And more!
Regardless of carrying so much, I could use this bag as my personal bag on our Spirit flight!
The design of this product is nontraditional, but highly functional. It allows the backpack to carry more without being bulky, and has a wider opening for easy access. This was helpful during days at the amusement parks and beach. I could easily go through security, and everyone could grab anything, without having to stop and take the bag off.
The only downside of this design appeared when attempting to zip the backpack close. The bag is lined underneath with a sturdy steel frame to prevent it from damaging due to the weight it may endure, as well as maintain its shape. Unlike traditional backpacks, you couldn’t easily zip the teeth together. Instead, if carrying the product, someone had to hold the opening close, as well as support the base all while trying to zip it together.
This challenge probably presented itself because of the sheer amount of stuff I had inside of it.
On top of the design of the zipper, the product also had a small magnetic button to close the faux leather handles together. The handles are very sturdy and comfortable — if we ever needed to just carry the bag from the handles, it was doable with everything held inside.
On Amazon, this backpack is advertised to be a laptop bag; however, you can easily utilize this backpack as a school bag, purse, diaper bag, or weekend bag.
On top of all the functional aspects of this product, it’s also waterproof. KROSER did a great job with picking out the proper materials to make this happen. The backpack is made out of nylon and a water repellent. This was very handy because it was quite rainy when we were in LA — but, I didn’t have to worry about any of my electronics or belongings getting wet while exploring. The nylon fabric also allows the bag to be easily cleaned.
Another perk is a USB charging port on the outside of the bag. We live in a day and age where our phones are our life lines. Our phones have the power to pay, guide, and entertain our lives in a compacted design which fits in our pocket.
Of course, this product doesn’t come with a charging cord, or power bank, but once you acquire these items you can spend more time exploring instead of worrying about having to find an outlet to plug up your devices.
I personally love that the USB port is on the outside because it’s easy to access, and doesn’t eat up the length of your charger. With this design, everyone could charge their phone, and travel independently on their phones without having to worry about staying super close to me.
Overall, I am a fan of this brand and this backpack. It comes in both 15.6 inches and 14.1 inches, as well as in black. On Amazon, KROSER also has a variety of other products like camera bags, laptop bags, and travel packs.
I highly recommend this bag to anyone and everyone! It has done justice for me and Colin in both California, and Missouri. I can’t wait to see what other adventures this backpack will experience with me.
