hello lovelies and happy sunday!
I hope you have been healthy, high-spirited, and caring towards others. It has been a long while since I lasted posted (I believe it has been roughly four months).
Since my last update, many things have changed, and I am excited to share them with you! So, I hope you can take the time to go down memory lane with me! If not, I think I summarized everything in the vlog below, which was posted almost a month ago. If you would like to be up-to-date, please subscribe and follow my social media outlets!
Where do I even begin? As you can tell by the title, I am now an official alumna from the University of North Texas. In May, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. Throughout the summer, I traveled with Colin and family to Maine, and I will post a travel video once I stop being lazy (what is new ᵔᴥᵔ). Colin and I also visited his family in Missouri but I barely recorded our time there due to us wanting to just fully relax and recharge for the newest chapter in our lives.
It has been a month and a half since we moved in together, since I started a new full time job, and since he started pharmacy school. So far, life with him has been very good. We are both still trying to figure out this adulting thing, but we’ll get it down eventually. As I am typing this post on 09.21.19, I still have not finished all of my applications to school, and that is my primary focus right now. Once I finish these time-consuming applications, I will be able to fully focus on my blog and my videos. I am really excited to get my life together so I can begin rebuilding my love for creative thinking and art. It has been a struggle to not sleep all day, I am not going to lie, but I am working on it.
My current plan for M.A.N. is to try and post blogs on Tuesdays, have Throw Back Thursdays where I will share my older content that I have waiting to edit and upload, and then to post weekly vlogs on Sunday. I am not sure if I will have anything interesting to post on Sundays though due to the fact that I only go to work and then go home during my week. If it’s not a vlog then it will be a video of some kind.
I also recently started to pick up on some old hobbies as well as new ones. I have always had a love for art, and I recently went to the Monet exhibit in town (it was so good!) I am also obsessed with art and stationary videos which have me itching to create again. On top of art, I have been wanting to get back to reading, as well as starting to learn different languages again. In order to kick off these tasks, I need to get over this mental and physical block. I feel like I am pent up with so much creative juice with no where to go. I believe it is due to the fact that I need to find my desire to work on these hobbies again. Four years of focusing, studying, and hard sciences really diminished the right side of my brain. Regardless, I believe that I can make this come-back if I really focus and actively try.
Overall, I am really excited for this opportunity to find the right hemisphere of my brain again. Thank you so much for being so patient and understanding after all of these years. I promise I will work hard to create good quality content during my newfound free time. Hopefully, I will rediscover these hobbies as quickly as possible.
With Love, Joslyn
