January is the month of resolutions, and with the new semester already here, we are more determined to hit the ground running. Most collegiettes promise to maintain a healthier lifestyle for the upcoming year; however, there are right and wrong ways to doing so. Dieting, unfortunately, is one of the worst ways to lose weight and get healthy. Continue reading
Before I start today’s post, I would like to apologize for my inactivity. I didn’t realize that it’s been 20 days since my last post. I had my first couple of tests for the semester and something personal came up.
At the beginning of January, I received a package completely unaware of what it was. Surprisingly, I received two cans of Dove’s Dry Spray deodorant, one for women and one for men, from the courtesy of Target and Influenster.
Here is what me and my boyfriend thought about Dove’s Dry Spray deodorant: Continue reading
When you think of cardio, running is probably the first things that come to mind. Now, I know running is not everyone’s cup of tea – I know for sure that it’s not mine. Running is a part of my workout routine, however, I am for sure not a distance runner like my mom. Therefore I don’t run for a long time – maybe 30 minutes max when I’m feeling determined (which I don’t most of the time)
Running is actually very good for you and benefits your entire body, not just your legs. However, running tends to get repetitive and gets boring easily, especially if you are on a treadmill versus running outside.

If you guys follow me on Twitter, then you might have noticed that I recently did a poll. Recently, I’ve been going through this writer’s block funk, and I just needed some help in where I needed to lead my content. If you read my New Year’s Resolutions post, then you already know that I am trying really hard to improve my content, as well as many other things.

I know for me and for a lot of my friends and family, one of our biggest resolutions would have to be going to the gym and working out more, not just for physical appearances but for health reasons as well, such as cholesterol levels.
Now that you’ve put in the effort to get up and go to the gym, do you ever find yourself unmotivated and just stuck, not knowing what to do first, or what to do next, and for how long? Is your mind running more than your legs?
Having a playlist designed specifically for working out helps to energize you and reduce wandering thoughts which can just stress you out or make you feel awkward. Not to mention it makes working out go by faster and more fun! (And if you’re anything like me, you’re more into the music and the feels it gives you than working out)
Here is my current workout playlist that really helps me to get into the positive mood to workout:
As you probably know by now, I am currently a university student and a part-time retail worker, (not to mention I’m very active in working out and dance) which means I’m on my feet a lot.
Now I can probably say that some of us have experienced some pretty bad foot pains and cramps throughout the years, whether it be from shopping for a while, going to the amusement park, dancing, school, etc. I can also say that no one wants to give anyone else a foot massage.
