Skincare Products for My Maskne

Hello Loves! ʕ≧ᴥ≦ʔ
I am finally coming back with a form of content that is hopefully somewhat helpful! I can now safely say that I am now ready to get back to working on my blog and creating pieces that I enjoy. A little life update: I am pretty much done with this year’s application cycle, and am currently waiting to hear back from a few more schools. Therefore, I have more time and willpower to get back on track with writing more for M.A.N., editing, and other hobbies.

Today’s post is all about skincare, and the products that I have been using to help with my maskne. Before we get into these products, please know that I have sporadically used them prior to my recent breakouts from the masks. However, I have a bad habit of keeping up with my skincare routine until breakout occurs. I am currently still struggling with these annoying comedones (white and blackheads), but these products have really proven their importance in my routine. Overall, my skin is getting progressively better with the help of these products and some behavioral changes.

The Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills is definitely worth all the hype. It is probably the nicest palette that has ever blessed my face. For one, its velvety packaging is nothing less than luxurious. For two, its fourteen neutral and berry tones are perfect for all seasons and for a lot of skin types. It is clinically proven that you cannot reverse the effects of aging, without going under the needle. Therefore, the only way to manage wrinkles, crow’s feet, under-eye bags, etc. is by preventing such effects. Your skin mainly craves and is deprived of hydration, moisture, and nutrients.

Currently, skin care is the biggest cosmetic trend, especially in South Korea. From sheet masks to essences, Westerners want-in on the secrets of looking younger, longer.

In South Korea, they are obsessed with their 10-step skin-care regimen. Don’t panic! You should customize your skin care regimen to fit your skin’s unique needs. Some beauty bloggers have as low as 5 steps, while some are known to have 12-13 steps. It is not expected to suddenly splurge on a bunch of high-end skin care products, but you can start small with some of the basic steps. At first, it may seem like a hassle, but your skin deserves your upmost attention.

Not to mention, there are a lot of drug-store products that can do wonders for stressed out college students.

Product Review: Maybelline’s Creamy Mattes

IMG_2997 edit 2

I am a complete sucker for a good nude lipstick. There are so many different variations of “nude”, however, because of my skin type, those colors are limited to only a hand few. And with my lip dilemma, the selection is reduced further. I was really desperate to find a good nude lipstick, so I ventured onto YouTube and found a handful of Youtubers with similar skin tones as myself, and went from there! Maybelline’s Clay Crush from the Creamy Mattes Collection interested me the most, so i decided to try it out! Here is what I think about Maybelline’s Creamy Mattes in Clay Crush:

Product Review: Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream

EDIT

Like many, I suffer from dark circles and bags; however, ever since I started college, they’re more apparent now than ever. I’ve been doing research and was looking around for a brightening and skin tightening cream. However, I was confused between bags and puffy eyes. With this confusion apparent, I purchased Origins’ Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream and this is what I think:
