Peachy Academy: My Academic Background

Hello loves and welcome back to Peachy Academy!

To start off this series, I thought it was fitting that I share my academic background with you. This series would not be comprehensive without disclosing this information. I believe that my perspective, advice, and potential mentorship can be better understood once you take a peek into my educational path.

As I mentioned in the introduction post, school has been a massive part of my life. However, I would not consider my academic journey as typical or average. For example, I have been privileged enough to attend private school for six years. Although I am aware that I had a lot leverage in my education, I want you to take everything with a grain of salt.

Remember that education, life, and success is not always linear.

My First Car Buying Experience

How are y’all doing today? — I  hope you’re having a pretty good day. I’m so sorry for missing Saturday’s post, I swear this one was suppose to be for then, but I was getting caught up with prepping for a wedding I was attending that I forgot.

But in today’s post, I will be having story time, and will be talking about my first car buying experience. Here’s how it went down:

I know I have been gone for a while, and I am so sorry for that — again, work calls, therefore I must attend (even though sometimes I’m very reluctant to do so). In today’s blog post, I am going to be sharing with you guys my experience during my first year of school, highlighting some topics which I think are important for those who are starting in the fall, and for the upcoming graduating class of 2017!

Sometimes we wonder, how do married couples stay together for so long? Sometimes it’s hard to believe that love alone can keep two people together “till death do [they] part.”

As college students, sometimes we don’t realize that marriage can be right around the corner; however, the real question is: “How can I be with someone for that long?” For now, let’s put marriage aside, and just focus on serious relationships in general.

In the span of about two years, I have worked for a retail store and a department store, and to say that that there aren’t any cons to working in either types of clothing stores is a lie.
