Skincare Products for My Maskne

Hello Loves! ʕ≧ᴥ≦ʔ
I am finally coming back with a form of content that is hopefully somewhat helpful! I can now safely say that I am now ready to get back to working on my blog and creating pieces that I enjoy. A little life update: I am pretty much done with this year’s application cycle, and am currently waiting to hear back from a few more schools. Therefore, I have more time and willpower to get back on track with writing more for M.A.N., editing, and other hobbies.

Today’s post is all about skincare, and the products that I have been using to help with my maskne. Before we get into these products, please know that I have sporadically used them prior to my recent breakouts from the masks. However, I have a bad habit of keeping up with my skincare routine until breakout occurs. I am currently still struggling with these annoying comedones (white and blackheads), but these products have really proven their importance in my routine. Overall, my skin is getting progressively better with the help of these products and some behavioral changes.

Before I start today’s post, I would like to apologize for my inactivity. I didn’t realize that it’s been 20 days since my last post. I had my first couple of tests for the semester and something personal came up.

At the beginning of January, I received a package completely unaware of what it was. Surprisingly, I received two cans of Dove’s Dry Spray deodorant, one for women and one for men, from the courtesy of Target and Influenster.

Here is what me and my boyfriend thought about Dove’s Dry Spray deodorant:  Continue reading Product Review: Dove Dry Spray

Hello Loves! Before I get started, I just wanted to apologize for my absences. Work has at least quadrupled the amount of hours I work because of holiday hours. But no worries! They’re starting to thin out now!!

Today’s product review is a little different today. Green Tree Jewelry reached out and requested some bloggers to review their products, and after one look, I was in love! Check out the three styles I picked out and my full opinion on Green Tree Jewelry here:

Product Review: Carnation Breakfast Essentials Grab n’ Go! Smoothies

Ever since my late middle school years, I stopped eating breakfast in the mornings because I preferred to get more sleep than to eat; however, the most important meal of the day is breakfast. The reason being is that breakfast the jump start of your day — starting your metabolism, helping you feel energized and more full than going without food until brunch or lunch.

Thanks to BzzAgent I have been given the opportunity to try out Carnation’s Grab n’ Go! Breakfast Smoothies from Kroger.

Here is what Colin and I think about Carnation’s Grab n’ Go! Breakfast Smoothies in both Mixed Berry and Strawberry Banana.

I am a complete sucker for a good nude lipstick. There are so many different variations of “nude”, however, because of my skin type, those colors are limited to only a hand few. And with my lip dilemma, the selection is reduced further. I was really desperate to find a good nude lipstick, so I ventured onto YouTube and found a handful of Youtubers with similar skin tones as myself, and went from there! Maybelline’s Clay Crush from the Creamy Mattes Collection interested me the most, so i decided to try it out! Here is what I think about Maybelline’s Creamy Mattes in Clay Crush:

Happy Saturday!! I guess this week’s “theme” is E.L.F, because I have another product review for E.L.F! Whenever I try to find a new lip product, I always have to question whether or not it will dry out my lips. For years, this has been such a struggle for me. The my lips are dysfunctional and have such a hard time retaining moisture. Here is how E.L.F.’s Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Sangria Starters worked out for me:

What I love the most about Elf Cosmetics is that they’re an affordable “drug store” brand, and the quality of their products never ceases to amaze me. I have been wanting to try Elf’s Face Primer Collection for a while now, I just wasn’t 100% sure which one I should try first. In the end, I finally decided on trying Elf’s Poreless Face Primer because the size of my pores will always be an issue for me. Here is how Elf’s Poreless Face Primer turned out for me:

Product Review: Dove Advanced Care Deodorant

IMG_2957 TEXT

I’ve had discoloration under my arms for as long as I could remember, and it made me feel self-conscious whenever I wore tops, and dresses that were strapless, spaghetti strapped, or sleeveless. At first, I thought it was because I wasn’t cleaning the area enough, but that wasn’t the case. It turns out that people with darker skin are just naturally more prone to darker pigmentation underneath their arms. I have tried home remedies here and there, but to no affair. I thought I would just have to get over the fact that I had dark underarms, until now:
